Password, Login Problems

Frequently Asked Questions about Passwords and Logging in at member websites

I have my userid and password. Where do I register with that code?

Each product has a specific website. Go to the website and click the “Login” link near the top of the page. Enter your userid and password to gain access to the website.

I can’t download the digital product that I bought. I don’t know how.

Please refer to the download site for specific, visual instructions on how to download. You should have been directed to the download site immediately after purchasing. You’ll also get a support email with a link to the download website. Be sure to download right away; links are only good for 24 hours.

My downloaded file won’t open. It’s corrupted. What do I do?

Occasionally, a download becomes corrupted during the download process. The only way to solve this is to go back to the download page and obtain another copy. Rarely will a download be corrupted twice in a row.

Simply go back to the download site and download the file again. That will easily solve your problem.

I bought your product at work but now I’m home. Can I log in from my home computer and download again?

Yes. You can log in from any computer with your userid and password. If you’re using a computer that someone else uses, we recommend logging out when you are done to make sure no one else gets access to your materials.

I ordered your program and never received anything. How can I get my product?.

If your order was successfully processed but you did not receive anything by email and/or did not receive your product by US mail that would indicate a problem may have occured with the transaction.

If this is the case, please contact us, and provide the following:

  • Your full name
  • Your correct email address
  • Name of the product you bought
  • The date (or approximate date) of purchase

We will contact you shortly with the information you need to access the product.

My computer crashed. Can you issue me another userid and password? I don’t have my original any longer.

If you crashed your computer and you don’t have your userid or password any longer, go to the login page and click the link, “Lost Your Password?” After a confirmation email, the system will generate a new password for you.

If you’re unable to access your email at the email address you originally registered, contact us by filing a support ticket here.

Make sure to provide the following when requesting lost login information:

  • Your Full Name
  • The Email Address used to order
  • Your Mailing Address
  • Your Phone Number
  • Any other email address you may have used

We will search for your data and contact you with the requested information.

I have a bunch of different userids and passwords. Can I get 1 single login to use?

Unfortunately it isn’t possible to have one single userid for every product.

What we suggest you do is print out a list of your userids and passwords codes so if you ever need them later, you won’t have a problem finding that information.

I am trying to login to the digital product I bought, but keep getting an error message. What am I doing wrong?

There are only a few reasons that may cause you to receive a login error message. Check these:

  1. Your userid and password are both case sensitive, which means you should only use capital letters where they belong.
  2. Check to make sure your CAPS LOCK is not turned on.

If your CAPS LOCK button is turned on, it will mix up your letters and prevent you from being able to login.

Turn off the CAPS lock and try again.

  3. Make sure you are not making any spelling errors with your userid.

Please be sure that you are entering the userid exactly as it is written when issued to you.
You can copy the userid from the email you received and paste that into the login box to avoid errors.
Please be sure that you are not entering any blank spaces before or after the last character of the userid or password.

  4. Make sure that you are NOT entering any invisible “blank spaces”.

When you enter your userid or password, you must make sure not to accidentally enter any additional blank spaces.

Often this can occur by hitting the space bar after the last character has been entered and since it is a blank space you can’t see it as an error. It can also occur if you copy/paste your userid into the login box.

  5. Make sure you are entering your login exactly as it was provided to you.

If you make even one slight error when you enter the userid or password you won’t be able to login correctly. Make sure you are not mixing up the numbers in your password.

Tip: If you use Windows XP then you can copy/paste your login! If you are using Windows XP then you can copy your login from the email you received, directly pasting into the login box. This works for both the user/pass areas but only for Windows XP. If you use Win 98 or lower you can only copy the userid, not the password.

I bought a lot of products. Most of them are on CD but some are digital. How do I know where to login to the digital ones?

Normally, when you buy a digital download from us, we send you an email with a link to the download page, or a link that you download directly. Sometimes, after making the purchase, our shopping cart system will send you directly to the download page.

Note: Download links are usually good only 24 hours.

If you are not sure where to get a download, please open a support ticket and we will assist you.
